Amazing news

I'm beyond chuffed to report that I am now being represented by literary agent Gillie Russell of Aitken Alexander. Gillie has given me phenomenal guidance and feedback so I am really looking forward to working with her and learning even more. I feel very lucky to have such an accomplished agent and I am very excited about our future work!

Incidentally, we are looking for a new title for "Anarchic Angel". Answers on a postcard, please....

Congratulations, this is wonderful news! I am excited at the prospect of The-Novel-Formerly-Known-As-Anarchic-Angel eventually appearing in print, whatever its new title.

Hmmm: Rebellious Seraphim? On the Trail of a Fallen Star? The Girl in the Shadow of a Cult? (With varying degrees of seriousness! ;-) )

About Me

Regina de Búrca grew up in the west of Ireland surrounded by rare books and an eccentric breed of people known as book collectors. Her parents encouraged her to tell stories, thanks to the catalogue of excuses and half-truths that she had gathered by the age of six. They believed she had taken after her great-grandfather; a hopeless case whose only redeeming quality was his ability to tell a good yarn. Regina proved them right with the latter when she wrote her first book aged seven about a talking strawberry named Willis, after a character in the TV show “Diff'rent Strokes”. The jury is still out on the whether she’s a hopeless case or not though. Despite her bohemian parents’ best efforts, Regina is now a nerd who gets excited about new Apple products and 'Doctor Who' episodes.
